The amendment to House Bill 32 removes one of the bill's original sponsors and adds text to clarify that the document may include both proposed and adopted amendments during the current legislative session. It also specifies that the new energy storage system income tax credit applies for taxable years before January 1, 2028. These changes are important because they streamline the process and ensure the guidelines for the tax credit are clear to those looking to benefit from it.
