Plain-language change summary

The updated version of SB 47 changes the rules regarding the reinstatement of a driver's license in New Mexico. Specifically, it states that individuals whose licenses were suspended solely for not paying fines or failing to appear in court will have their licenses reinstated automatically without any fees. This change aims to reduce barriers for drivers trying to regain their driving privileges, which could help more people get back on the road legally and improve overall road safety.
