Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to House Bill 99 simplify its language while retaining its main objective, which is to allocate funds for the New Mexico School for the Arts Dormitory. The updated bill now highlights the annual transfer of funds from the Excess Extraction Taxes Suspense Fund more clearly. This matters because it ensures that funding for the arts school will be more transparent and straightforward, making it easier for stakeholders to understand how the financial support is structured.
