Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to Senate Bill 59 involve the addition of formal committee recommendations and a summary of the roll call vote. This shift confirms that the bill has been thoroughly reviewed and approved by the Tax, Business, and Transportation Committee before moving on to the Finance Committee. This matters because it indicates that the bill has the backing of key legislators and is progressing through the legislative process, which increases its chances of becoming law and potentially enhancing transportation options in New Mexico.
