Plain-language change summary

The amendment to Senate Bill 73 clarifies that voters who haven't chosen a political party affiliation on their registration can participate in primary elections by simply requesting a major party's ballot. This change matters because it allows more voters to engage in the primary election process, potentially increasing participation and ensuring that a wider range of voices and choices are represented in the electoral process.
