Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to Senate Bill 247 mainly involve the removal of a provision that allowed individuals to appeal a summary suspension of their license as a final agency action and an increase in penalties for unlicensed activity. These adjustments simplify the bill and focus on more immediate regulatory processes, like virtual hearings and handling incomplete applications. This matters because it streamlines the licensing process and improves accessibility while removing potential legal complexities related to appeals.
