Plain-language change summary

The amendments to SB 409 change the wording to clarify the appropriation of funds. The bill now specifies that $6.5 million is being allocated to the Department of Information Technology for digital trunked radio communications subscriber fees. This change is important because it ensures that the funding is explicitly designated for these communication systems, which can enhance public safety and government operations.
