The revised version of Bill SB 252 now includes an appropriation of $26 million to support dairy processing facilities in New Mexico. This funding aims to help these facilities meet certain executive orders focused on reducing carbon emissions, conserving water, and decreasing energy consumption. This change is significant because it directly addresses environmental concerns while supporting the state's agriculture industry.
