Plain-language change summary

The changes to Senate Bill 6 include the removal of a requirement for service of process on the Secretary of State for election-related litigation and a stipulation that certain forms must be approved by the Secretary of State. These adjustments could simplify the litigation process and provide more flexibility in the administrative handling of election forms. This matters because it may improve efficiency in election management and reduce legal complications. Additionally, the bill still introduces the Voter Education and Elections Task Force and creates an Elections Security Program, which are aimed at strengthening the electoral process.
