The changes to House Bill 11 included the removal of one sponsor and several provisions, such as the imposition of a fee and requirements for additional reports and appropriations. This streamlining focuses on establishing an income tax credit for energy storage systems and requiring an annual report from the Energy, Minerals, and Natural Resources Department. These adjustments aim to simplify the bill and ensure it remains focused on encouraging energy storage solutions, which are important for renewable energy integration.
