d r e 22 "7-1-3 A senator who has tested positive for severe acute c e s k 23 respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 within ten days e a n b 24 before or during a session or who has actual u [ knowledge of a person who has tested positive for .221714.2 severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 with whom the senator has been in close contact, as defined by the New Mexico department of health, during that time shall inform the senator's respective floor leader or whip.
(a) a senator who has been in close contact with an individual who has tested positive for SR 2 Page 1 severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 in the past fourteen days, and who has been fully vaccinated against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, may continue to remain physically present in the state capitol upon producing a negative test for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2;
and (b) a senator who has tested positive for e t 17 severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 or w l n d 18 has come into close contact with an individual who = = 19 a l has tested positive for severe acute respiratory i a e r 20 syndrome coronavirus 2 in the past fourteen days, a t m m 21 and who has not been fully vaccinated, shall either d r e 22 be excused or shall self-isolate outside the capitol c e s k 23 in the city of Santa Fe and participate by e a n b 24 simultaneous, remote electronic means and be u [ visually present or, if participating by telephone, .221714.2 - 2 - confirm the senator's presence by voice.
