The latest version of HB 1006 made a small but important update by clarifying language related to the organisms used in cultivating food products. Specifically, it modified wording to emphasize the prohibition of cultivating certain organisms. This change matters because it could provide clearer guidance for farmers and producers about what is allowed, potentially leading to better compliance and understanding of food safety regulations.
