Plain-language change summary

The amendment to Bill SB 2471 updates the language to specify alignment with current national cybersecurity standards and frameworks. Notably, it replaces a broader reference to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework with more specific standards like NIST special publications and the ISO/IEC 27000 series. This change is important because it clarifies the exact standards organizations need to follow, ensuring that cybersecurity measures are consistent with the most recognized and effective practices in the field, ultimately enhancing security for all involved.
