Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to Bill HB 1436 clarified the procedure for the Mississippi Transportation Commission to transfer a specific piece of land in Greene County to the local Board of Supervisors. It modifies the language to ensure that the commission can convey this property more smoothly, potentially aiding in local development or infrastructure projects. This change is important because it simplifies the process and can lead to quicker action on land use for community improvements.
