What changed in the latest version

The amended version of Bill HB 4331 now clearly allows for union or labor organization dues to be deducted from the wages of employees working for urban mass transportation authorities receiving federal funding. This change emphasizes the importance of supporting unions in the workforce while ensuring that these authorities can maintain their federal funding. By specifying this allowance, the bill aims to protect the rights of workers to join labor organizations without jeopardizing the financial support from federal programs.
