Plain-language change summary

The amendments to Bill SB 441 create clearer rules regarding the confidentiality of video footage and reports from correctional or juvenile facilities. Now, specific parties, such as law enforcement and certain state attorneys, can access this information under defined conditions, while ensuring that it remains confidential. This change is important because it aims to balance the need for transparency in investigations with the protection of sensitive information, especially related to juveniles.
