The latest version of Bill SB 70 adds provisions related to firearm sales and criminal history checks, while also clarifying the conditions under which individuals can have their rights to possess firearms restored. Importantly, it outlines that members of the armed forces can establish residency in Virginia with military identification, even if it does not show a Virginia address. These changes aim to ensure clearer guidelines for firearm ownership and enhance the ability of service members to navigate legal requirements regarding residency.
