What changed in the latest version
14 added · 12 removedPlain-language change summary
The updated version of Bill SB 593 has clarified its language regarding child-care services and requirements for licensure. It continues to mandate that caregivers must be certified free from past abuse or neglect complaints, but now emphasizes the right of applicants to receive a copy of the adverse information if their licensure is denied. This change ensures greater transparency and fairness for individuals seeking to provide child-care services, which is important for maintaining trust and safety in these environments.
