The revised bill SB 35 now includes a grievance procedure and judicial review for participants in the Division of Motor Vehicles’ Safety and Treatment Program. This change ensures that individuals who feel wronged by decisions made by the program have a formal way to address their concerns. Additionally, it clarifies that the Commissioner of the Division of Motor Vehicles can create rules related to these procedures. This matters because it promotes fairness and accountability within the program, allowing participants to have their voices heard.
