Plain-language change summary

The recent changes to House Bill 1297 involve adjustments to the minimum credit amounts specified within the legislation. Specifically, the references now point to a different section regarding the minimum credit amount, which may change how benefits are calculated for recipients. Additionally, the timeline for assessing penalties on unpaid amounts has been adjusted, providing a clearer path for handling overdue payments. These changes are significant as they aim to streamline processes and potentially offer more fairness in how credits and penalties are applied.
