The updated version of Bill HB 2073 has removed the lieutenant governor and the commissioner of public lands from the state capitol committee, while adding the governor's designee. This change streamlines the committee's membership and focuses on including only key decision-makers from the executive and legislative branches. This matters because it may improve decision-making efficiency regarding the management and future planning of the state capitol buildings and grounds.
