What changed in the latest version
21 added · 22 removedPlain-language change summary
In the latest version of House Bill 1276, the term "certified emergency medical services personnel" was replaced with "first responders." This change broadens the scope of individuals authorized to provide medical evaluation and initial treatment on-site before emergency services are called. This matters because it allows more organizations, including law enforcement and safety teams, to utilize various trained personnel for immediate medical assistance, potentially improving response times and outcomes in emergencies.
