What changed in the latest version
163 added · 11 removedPlain-language change summary
The latest version of Bill SB 964 now allows physical therapists to certify the necessary information for individuals to obtain disabled parking plates and cards, expanding the range of professionals who can assist with this process. Previously, certifications could only come from a more limited group of healthcare providers. This change is significant because it makes it easier for individuals with disabilities to access the parking privileges they need, potentially streamlining the application process and reducing barriers. Additionally, the bill has clarified the effective date, specifying that it will take effect ten months after it is published.
