Plain-language change summary

The recent amendment to SB 217 changes the rules regarding passengers on all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and utility terrain vehicles (UTVs) in Wisconsin. Previously, it was illegal for anyone to ride on parts of these vehicles not designed for passengers, but now the law allows for one passenger to be seated in a designated second seat of an ATV. This change is important as it provides more flexibility for riders while ensuring safety regulations are still upheld.
