Plain-language change summary

The amendment to SB 895 adds several important projects to the University of Wisconsin System's capital budget, including the construction of a new engineering building at UW–Madison and renovations for various residence halls and facilities. Additionally, it includes a new section that requires the University of Wisconsin System to develop a plan to honor Wisconsin veterans by June 30, 2024. This change is significant as it not only supports infrastructure improvements at the university but also emphasizes the state's commitment to recognizing and memorializing its veterans.
