Plain-language change summary

The recent amendments to Senate Bill 933 add protections against discrimination in organ transplantation based on a person's vaccination status. This means hospitals cannot deny someone a spot on the organ transplant waiting list or place them lower on the list just because of their vaccination history. This change is important because it aims to ensure that decisions about organ transplants are made based on medical need rather than a person's personal health choices. Overall, the bill seeks to promote fairness and equitable treatment in the transplant process.
