Plain-language change summary

The key change in Assembly Bill 910 is that it now requires remote sellers of cigars and pipe tobacco to obtain a specific permit from the Department of Revenue and ensure they use age verification to confirm that buyers are at least 21 years old. Additionally, these sellers will need to collect sales tax in certain situations and submit regular reports to the department. This update is important as it aims to regulate online sales of tobacco products more effectively, ensuring that sales are conducted responsibly and legally.
