“(c) Before the tower crane to which the license applies is installed, the licensee records in the office of the register of deeds of the county in which the real property on which the construction activities occur is located a notice that includes all of the following information:
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau This bill provides that an owner of real property on which construction activities are occurring has a temporary limited easement over adjacent real property that allows passing a crane boom over the property at such an altitude so as to not interfere with the then existing use to which the property, or the space over the property, is put by the owner.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
The full name of each individual who will operate the tower crane and proof that the individual is licensed or certified under 29 CFR 1926.1427.

700.46 of the statutes is created to read:
The legal description and street address for the real property on which the construction activities occur and for each of the adjacent real properties over which the tower crane boom may pass.”.

An owner of real property on which construction activities are occurring has a temporary easement over adjacent real property for the duration of those construction activities for the limited purpose of passing a crane boom used in those construction activities over the adjacent real property at such an altitude so as to not interfere with the then existing - 2024 Legislature - 2 - LRB-4164/1 KRP:amn ASSEMBLY BILL 621 SECTION 1 use to which the adjacent real property, or the space over the adjacent real property, is put by the owner.
