Plain-language change summary

The revised version of Assembly Bill 541 clarifies that out-of-state mental health care providers can offer telehealth services to patients in Wisconsin without needing a Wisconsin license, as long as they meet specific conditions. These conditions include being properly licensed in their own state and providing clear information to patients about their licensing status. This change is important because it expands access to mental health care for Wisconsin residents, allowing them to connect with a broader range of qualified professionals.
