Congress must act to protect the future of soccer
I am writing you today to ask that you push for the Senate Commerce Committee to hold a hearing on U.S. Soccer and the Federation's failure to abide by its congressional mandates.
The Federation is rife with problems: women are treated unequally, lower-income talent is discriminated against, profits are prioritized over progress, and there is a lack of transparency in the questionable back-room deals.
It is time to fix all of this. Congress can help protect the future of soccer. A critical first step—hold a hearing.
