We need conservatives who are worth their salt.
Did you see this? Republicans in the legislature, led by Speaker Pro Tempore Lee Chatfield, are trying to intentionally raise the cost of taking care of our wintry roads.
We expect this kind of economic illiteracy from the Left, but it’s particularly disappointing to have to fight our supposed allies on the Right - again - over corporate cronyism.
Senate Bill 363 would give an advantage to just one company - the Detroit Salt Company - against all competing road salt imports. And it pays for this advantage with my tax dollars.
Stop crony capitalism and defend the free market. I urge you to vote NO on SB 363.
Thank you.
