Stop the CISA

To members of Congress, President Obama and Members of the FCC:

It is time for elected officials to take genuine action to defend a free and open Internet. I just watched the critically acclaimed documentary, "Killswitch: The Battle to Control the Internet", and it is clear to me that in order to defend democracy, we need to act NOW to stop the Cybersecurity Information Sharing Act of 2015 (CISA).

Those of us who care about privacy and security know the CISA is a thinly-veiled attempt of the finance, health, defense and telecom industries to increase their access to our private information and personal data. Even trade groups that represent Google, Facebook, Amazon, and Sprint have recently come out against CISA, as well as others such as Salesforce, Twitter, Yelp and Wikipedia.

You, as a representative of the People, have a responsibility to protect our privacy and constitutional rights, not the special interests of industries that seek to mine our personal data and invade our privacy for profit.
