Everyone Supports Increasing The Current Minimum Insurance Limits For Commercial Motor Vehicles
I support increasing the current minimum insurance limits for commercial motor vehicles to help make our roads safer. The current minimum limits have not been changed since the 1980s. An adjustment, accounting for the cost of medical inflation, will ensure that victims of truck crashes have adequate resources to care for themselves and replace lost income without burdening state workers’ compensation, Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare and other assistance agencies that are already overburdened.
