Senator Heidi Heitkamp: Don’t vote for war. Vote No on Pompeo.
I ask that you vote no on Mike Pompeo as Secretary of State. Rather than being a diplomat, Pompeo is a military hawk who wants to destroy the Iran deal and may well sabotage the North Korea talks. He is unfit for the position of Secretary of State. Without at least one Democrat to vote in favor of Pompeo, we have a very real chance that he won’t be confirmed. Please don’t bring us into the next war by breaking with the Democratic party. Vote No on Pompeo.
