OPPOSE WA SB 6146!
I stand with Firearms Policy Coalition and urge you to oppose SB 6146. Under current law, gun owners have to learn and follow a single framework of firearms law. This bill would remove that framework. It would allow for local jurisdictions to create their own rules and regulations when it comes to guns, unnecessarily burdening Washington gun owners with a patchwork of different laws, rules, and ordinances as they work and travel in the state. Moreover, the State Legislature has the supreme authority to legislate and enact law and it shouldn’t abdicate this authority to local jurisdictions. I strongly urge you to vote NO on SB 6146.
