Congress must not be silent about Trump’s dangerous actions on Jerusalem
President Trump’s announcement of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and his intention to move the embassy is a violation of international law. It was for good reason that no president before Trump took this action. It is a dangerous move, especially given the already volatile situation in the Middle East.
