As a citizen concerned with human rights, and in support of nonviolence, I ask you to sign the "Dear Colleague" letter initiated by Representative Pocan, McCollum, Blumenauer and Ellison advocating for human rights defender Issa Amro. Mr. Amro’s case is an example of widespread targeting of human rights activists using old and exaggerated charges in a military court system whose conviction rate for Palestinians is over 99%. It is essential that the U.S. act to protect Issa and the nonviolent human rights work he is devoted to. Sincerely,
