Please don't cosponsor the Israel Anti-Boycott Act (S.720 and H.R.1697)
I am writing to ask that you oppose H.1685/S.1689 “An Act Prohibiting Discrimination in State Contracts from the Joint Committee on State Administration and Regulatory Oversight.” The true intent of this Act is to not to eliminate discrimination but to inhibit those who may wish to exercise their right to boycott, particularly as it relates to Israel. For this reason, 100 organizations in Massachusetts have joined the Freedom to Boycott coalition to oppose this Act. The right to boycott must be maintained as a protected form of free speech.
