13 In Memory of Mary Wilson WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the passing of Mary E.ALarsen Preuss Wilson of Sulphur Springs on JuneA23, 2025, at the age of 92;

and WHEREAS, Mr.APreuss’ s career with Texas Power and Light took the family to Taylor, Waco, Elgin, and then Sulphur Springs, where Mrs.APreuss was able to complete her bachelorbachelor’ s degree in education nearby at East Texas State University;

and WHEREAS, Following Mr.APreuss’sMr.APreuss’ s passing in 1988, she was fortunate enough to find love a second time and wed John Wilson in 1995;

following Mr.Mr.AWilson’ s death in 2000, she moved back to Sulphur Springs to be close to her sons;

AWilson’sshe deathenjoyed inplaying 2000,bridge, and she movedwas backa tofaithful Sulphurmember Springsof toFirst beUnited closeMethodist toChurch; her sons;

she enjoyed playing 89S20448 AMB-D 1 S.R.ANo.A13 bridge, and she was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church;

now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the 89thState Texasof Texas, 89th Legislature, 2nd Called Session, hereby pay tribute to the life of Mary E.ALarsen Preuss Wilson and extend sincere condolences to the members of her family:

and, be it further RESOLVED,S.R. That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for her family and that when the Texas Senate adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Mary EALarsen Preuss Wilson.
