Whereas, Landon "Cale" Bodie was described as a truly genuine soul that left a mark wherever he went.
and Whereas, a faithful member of the Future Farmers of America, Bodie had a true love for the outdoors and agriculture.

and Whereas, a member of Beulah Baptist Church, Bodie had strong faith in the Lord and was known to always have his pocket Bible with him wherever he went.

It is only fitting proper that this native son of the Palmetto State, who gave his life in service to others is remembered by having a portion of United States Highway 378 named in his honor.
