A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO ESTABLISH A MATCHING PROGRAM FOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE PARENTAL SAVINGS TRUST FUND AND TO CREATE A TAX DEDUCTION FOR CERTAIN CONTRIBUTIONS TO QUALIFIED TUITION PROGRAMS.
Rules, Calendar, and Operations of the House April 8, 2025 A BILL TO BE ENTITLED AN ACT TO ESTABLISH A MATCHING PROGRAM FOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE PARENTAL SAVINGS TRUST FUND AND TO CREATE A TAX DEDUCTION FOR CERTAIN CONTRIBUTIONS TO QUALIFIED TUITION PROGRAMS.

SECTION 1.(b) There is appropriated from the General Fund to the Board of Governors of The University of North Carolina for the 2025-2026 fiscal year the sum of one hundred eighty thousand dollars ($180,000) in recurring funds to be allocated to the State Education Assistance Authority to provide matching contributions to the Parental Savings Trust Fund pursuant to G.S.
