(8) A person may not be licensed as a broker unless he or she has been licensed as a salesperson and can demonstrate that he or she has been directly involved in at least four transactions that resulted in the sale of a yacht or can certify that he or she has obtained at least 20 ~~continuing~~ education credits approved by the division for at least 2 consecutive years, and may not be licensed as a broker unless he or she has been licensed as a salesperson for at least 2 consecutive years.
