1 On page 1, between lines 7 and 8, insert the following:
to provide for special education due process hearings;
"Section 1.
to provide that local education agencies shall have the burden of proof in such hearings relative to the appropriateness of a student's current or proposedplacementorprogram;toprovideforhowtheburdenofproofshallbemet;
This Act shall be known and may be cited as the "Erin Carpenter, Corinth Corley, LandryCravins, ZachryEdmonston, Carter Hart, Cameron Hogan, Vinaya Martin, and Henry Lee Wray Act"." AMENDMENT NO.
and to provide for related matters.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
Section 1.
This Act shall be known and may be cited as the "Vinaya Alexander, Landry Bell, Noah Cannino, Erin Carpenter, Corinth Corley, Zachry Edmonston, Carter Hart, Cameron Hogan, Eden Emily Robinson, Sammy Rollins, and Henry Lee Wray Act".

17:1946(B)(3) is hereby enacted to read as follows:
