Walsh worked at automotive parts factories while taking night classesatRutgersUniversity, andlaterenrolledatandlaterenrolledattheUniversityofAlabama,wherehemet theUniversityofAlabama,wherehemet his lifelong friend, client, business partner, and future NFL Hall of Fame quarterback, Joe Namath, and he also befriended future New Orleans civic leader, Eddie Sapir;
