A RESOLUTION To express the sincere condolences of the Senate of the Legislature of Louisiana upon the passing of Barbara Vastine Hughes, and to recognize her lifetime of services, faith, and dedication to her family and community.

and WHEREAS, born on August 31, 1935, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Marvin and Ethel Vastine, BarbarawasBarbara was raised with values that guided her lifelong dedication to family, faith, and service;
