1 On page 1, line 2, after "R.S.
32:1734(G) through (I), relative to towing and storage company hours;

2 On page 1, line 7, after "R.S.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of Louisiana:
4 On page 1, delete lines 11 through 17 and insert the following:
Section 1.
"F.
R.S.
For purposes of this Section, any towing or storage company conductingnonconsensualtowingoperationsfromprivatepropertyshallmake themselves available for the release of personal property or the vehicle within ninety minutes of request outside normal business hours exclusive of legal holidays.
32:1734(F) is hereby amended and reenacted and R.S.
32:1734(G) through (I) are herebyenacted to read as follows:
§1734.
Gate fees;
other fees;
excessive charges;
prohibitions;
cause of action * * * F.
For purposes of this Section, any towing or storage company conductingnonconsensualtowingoperationsfromprivatepropertyshallmake themselvesavailable forthereleaseof personal property or the vehicle,outside normal business hours, exclusiveof legalholidays and certainexempted hours.
For purposes of this Section, any towing or storage company conducting nonconsensual towing operations from private property that is unavailable to the public for the timely release of personal property or the vehicleshallnotchargetherequesterastoragefeethedayofthefacilityclosure or unavailability, exclusive of legal holidays and certain exempted hours, suspending future storage fees until the next day of normal business hours.
For purposes of this Section, any towing or storage company conducting nonconsensual towing operations from private property that is unavailable to the public for the timely release of personal property or the vehiclewithinninetyminutesofrequestshallnotchargetherequesterastorage fee the day of the facility closure or unavailability, exclusive of legal holidays, suspending future storage fees until the next day of normal business hours.
The office of state police may adopt rules and regulations in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act as necessary to implement the provisions of this Section, including but not limited to establishing the exempted hours.
The administrative and mailing fees for filing the Official Report of StoredVehiclesforin-state and out-of-state notifications shall bedeterminedbythe Public Service Commission." Page 1 of 1
