BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF ALABAMA:
Section 1.
(a) Notwithstanding any provision of law, a judge may order, as a condition of bond, that a defendant charged with any offense listed in Section 15-13-3, Code of Alabama 1975, be supervised by the Board of Pardons and Paroles (b) The board shall adopt rules necessary to implement the requirements of this act.
Section 2.
This act shall become effective on the first day of the third month following its passage and approval by the Governor, or its otherwise becoming law, and shall be operative upon certification by the Director of Finance that sufficient funds have been appropriated to the Board of Pardons and Paroles to implement this act.
