T –––––––––– Patrons––Carroll Foy, McPike and Roem R WHEREAS, the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a O sisterhood of college-educated women actively engaged in serving the communities of Prince WillDam County, Manassas, and Manassas Park, celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2024;
N Agreed to by the Senate, February 15, 2024 R O WHEREAS, the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a County, Manassas, and Manassas Park, celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2024;
and WHEREAS, the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter (PWCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, U Inc., became the 740th chapter of the distinguished and historically African American national Corority wheWHEREAS, from a group of 15 charter members and six chapter members, the PWCAC has grown E considerably in its membership over the years and expanded and diversified the ways in which the organization makes an impact on the lives of others;
andof Prince William L WHEREAS, the Prince William County Alumnae Chapter (PWCAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, L Inc., became the 740th chapter of the distinguished and historically African American national sororEty wheWHEREAS, from a group of 15 charter members and six chapter members, the PWCAC has grown D considerably in its membership over the years and expanded and diversified the ways in which the organization makes an impact on the lives of others;
and D WHEREAS, the PWCAC supports local homeless shelters, carries out food and toy drives, and spearheads numerous other projects and initiatives in the areas of education and literacy, health and public good;
and spearheads numerous other projects and initiatives in the areas of education and literacy, health and wellness, arts and culture, and business, building a remarkable legacy of service in the interest of the pubWHEREAS, through a deep and unwavering commitment to their organization's mission and values, the members of the PWCAC have helped to make Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas R Park wonderful places to live, work, and raise a family;

now, therefore, be it E Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., hereby be commended on the occasion of its 40th anniversary;
