and Carver High School in Chesapeake, celebrate their 50th WHEREAS, the Crestwood Carver Friends of '72 represent the 386 students who were relocated UL from Crestwood High School and George Washington Carver High School in 1971 and 1969, CE resWHEREAS, members of this student body formed the Crestwood Carver Friends of '72 in 1988,theEtime;1988,the tiDe;

and Dreunions WHEREAS,in 1997, 2007, and 2013, offering opportunities to unite in their common bond and shared love for one another and to heal from the trauma many experienced following the dispersion of their school comWHEREAS, adopting the motto "Ain't No Stopping Us Now!," the Crestwood Carver Friends of '72 wentlook on to celebratethe subsequentfuture highwith schoolfresh reunionsresolve inand 1997,confidence 2007,that andthe 2013,pain offeringthey opportunitiesendured toin unitethe inpast theirwill commonbe bondthe andsource sharedof lovetheir communities;strength today;
